007 Agent Under Fire Review
By Jackcrap

The history of 007 games has been good and bad. Rare's Goldeneye set the standard for Bond games and if you ask me, it has still to be dethroned. But this review isn't on Rare's work of wonder, it's about a decent shooter with awesome multiplayer from EA.

Gameplay/ Presentation
Enemies are fairly intelligent as they'll run away and call for help if they are all alone. Some glitches are apparent but they never interrupt gameplay or make you start over. Like once I Q-Clawed up to a rooftop and when I tried to jump off I hung in the air for about 5 seconds before dropping. But the thing that really pisses me off is that there is no blood and the fact that enemies disappear after you kill them. That really destroys the realistic attire of the game. I'll just relieve my anxiety with some Metal Gear Solid 2. But the graphics are nice and enemies are detailed fairly well.

Multiplayer

Shooters almost always hit the spot on multi player cravings and Agent Under Fire is no slouch. Many options are present and are present but for some reason I just can't get enough of fraggin' my other competitors. Capture the flag, Combat Training (traditional combat) Escort (where you must protect a V.I.P. from your opponents gunfire), and Top Agent (in which one player is stronger than the others), are a few of the multiplayer options.

Replay Value

Singleplayer-wise, Agent Under Fire has 12 missions including two awesome driving missions. The secrets are pretty cool but once you get everything it starts to drag a bit. But that's where the multiplayer lifts up the dying singleplayer experience. With plenty of options the four player action never seems to fail.

Rating: Cool!
